A little about DTA's commitment to green building ....
Our commitment to the health of the community and our clients begins with our focus on ensuring our professionals are fully educated in all areas of the green building industry including its rating systems.
Members of our staff have been educated and named Certified Green Professionals by the National Association of Home Builders. This certification provides our clients the comfort in knowing that, if they so choose, their plans and specifications will incorporate healthy, energy efficient building principles that meet their lifestyle needs.
Additionally, members of our staff have attained the LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) designation. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. By becoming a LEED AP, our professionals are prepared to design a client's project taking into consideration Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources, and Environmental Air Quality. Homes designed to LEED Certification level are rated upon the compliance with these factors. Client's homes can be classified as LEED Certified, Silver, Gold, or Platinum. Being a LEED AP allows our professionals to also assist in the LEED Certification process.
